Canadian Women & Sport is committed to driving measurable impact that results in systemic change. Our goal by 2024 is to empower 10,000 leaders and 500 organizations to bring gender equity to life in their work. To achieve this, the new strategic plan focuses on the organization’s three key priorities:
- Deepening our gender equity work with sport organizations
- Fostering ongoing relationships with our partners
- Modernizing our current model
This strategic plan responds in part to broader changes in the environment that place increasing value and priority on gender equity and inclusion. This is a unique moment in time when the benefits of building an equitable sport system for everyone are obvious and people are ready to act. Canadian Women & Sport seeks to leverage our position as the leading authority and voice on women and sport to advocate for gender equity and actively partner with organizations who share our goal of changing the game. Through our history collaborating with sport organizations to implement gender equity, our 40-year experience of leadership, impact programs and solutions, and our relationships at all levels of sport across Canada, Canadian Women & Sport is the right organization to help people get involved.
